Torunn (her name means Thor’s love) from Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow.
When Odin dies Thor assumes the throne of Asgard and during that time his daughter Torunn is born. Torunn is left by Thor on Midgard in the care of Tony Stark so that she can grow there and learn some humility like he did. After Thor leaves Ultron goes and kills all of the Avengers, except Tony Stark who takes all of the Avenger’s kids and goes into hiding with them.
Tony tells the kids stories about their parents, and Torunn growing up with tales of her father attempts to be like him and emulate the typical Aesir macho warrior in hopes that one day Thor comes back for her.
This brings her major resentment and self-doubt, because while the other kids are orphaned, Torunn was pretty much abandoned by her dead-beat parents and when James brings it up at one point she becomes angry at him and they both fight (Tony breaks them apart).
But she overcomes her resentment when Thor appears to her and they have a chat. After he offers her what she wanted the most, the opportunity to live in Asgard with him, she declines. She already knows her father loves her and that her family in Midgard needs her.
I had a lot of pictures of Torunn and not all of them fit, so I tried puting photos that represented important moments to her.
Had some problems with this movie (animation, the fact that besides Pym the other character’s mothers don’t get much attention as their fathers) but overall I enjoyed it. The kids all have some bawws about their parents but there’s a point were they realize that they are all a family and that Tony was pretty much their Father. I recommend people to watch this although I must warn you this isn’t your typical Avengers story and it’s geared towards kids, so go in with that thought.
